Lecturers and academic workers under the aegis of Academic Staff Union of Polytechnics (ASUP), The Polytechnic Ibadan branch, have said they will not comply with the directive of the association’s national leadership on embarking on strike.

The lecturers expressed disagreement with the national leadership of ASUP on the appropriateness of the nationwide industrial action embarked on by the association.

Ibadan Poly spokesman Soladoye Adewole confirmed that the lecturers are still carrying on with their jobs.
