With this announcement, the rumors that placed Bezzecchi at the helm of the Pramac that Zarco had vacated after his departure to LRC Racing dissipated. With this new extension, he will add three seasons with the Italian team in MotoGP.

Marco Bezzecchi will race with the Mooney VR46 Racing Team in 2024 on a Ducati Desmosedici GP. The rider from Rimini, currently third in the overall standings with 183 points, and author of two victories and three podiums (four podiums in the sprint) this season, will be a Tavullia Team rider for the fifth consecutive year (Moto2 debut in 2020). A path of progressive growth that leads him to touch the Championship podium in Moto2 for the first time in 2020 (P4), a goal that he achieved in 2021 with third place and sealed with his debut in MotoGP in 2022. A season in which Bezzecchi impresses, winning the Rookie of the Year title, a podium (P2 in the Dutch GP) and a pole position (Thailand GP).

A natural choice and a test of continuity to count again next year with a working group and with the support of Ducati. A crucial aspect for Bezzecchi that allows him to win the first victory in the highest category (Argentine GP) of his career and of the 10-year history of the team, and thus demonstrate his talent and be a true protagonist of the 2023 Championship.
