The Atlético de Madrid will wear green in the third kit that they will debut throughout the season. Before, in the run-up to its debut in the Champions League against Lazio, the red and white club will debut the new line of training clothing that it will use in the competition.

The design of this green shirt, with black details on the sides, inside the pants, on the sleeves and on the collar, “is inspired by and highlights the concept of sustainability,” according to the club. “A concept that is also reflected in the shield and in the characteristic swoosh of Nike, as both present a speckle made with recycled materials from sneaker soles and other products, as well as on the collar itself, where the motto can be read’ Play Green. Atleti’, a program of sustainability projects promoted by the club and the Foundation,” he adds. In this sense, Atlético explains that this shirt is part of the ‘Move to Zero’ initiative promoted by Nike, “which advocates the reduction of waste and the reuse and recycling of materials.” Hence, “natural tones, 100% recycled polyester fibers and a new pattern designed to reduce material waste” have been used, making clear at all times “the use of sustainable materials.”

A shirt that joins the traditional red and white and the blue and white that commemorates Atlético’s 120th anniversary with the founding shield and that can now be found in the club’s official stores.
